The Hérault river meanders along Roquebrun with numerous loops down up to Béziers and flows into the Mediterranean in Agde. Spoilt by the Mediterranean climate, you can admire more than 400 kinds of cacti in the Jardin Méditerranéen. Oranges and lemon trees thrive in the valley as well. Moreover, the village is just right for swimming.

At the shores of the Orb, located below the town, you can perfectly swim in crystal-clear water. There is a nice shingle beach where you can rent canoes as well. Underneath the cataract a little snorkel tour is worth while. There you can watch lots of trouts. Attention! Nature protection area. Fishing and hunting is allowed only with approval.
